Industry 5.0-based Methods, Tools, and Models for Managing Operator-Centric Industrial Systems
Scope and Objectives
The transition from Industry 4.0 to Industry 5.0 introduces a paradigm shift where human-machine collaboration is elevated through a human-centric vision. Unlike its predecessor, which primarily emphasized automation and efficiency, Industry 5.0 (I5.0) prioritizes sustainability, resilience, and the well-being of operators in cyber-physical production systems.
This special session invites contributions that propose scientific models, advanced methodologies, and data-driven tools designed to manage operator-centric industrial systems under the I5.0 framework. The goal is to enable adaptive, personalized, and ethically-grounded management strategies that balance human and technological capabilities, particularly in environments where cognitive workload, emotional state, and system complexity are critical factors.
